A tumblr dedicated to the Final Fantasy heroes who have been chosen by the crystal.

Some 4HoL for you. I know it’s not much, but I think I had a bunch of work while I was in to this title. I should re-visit it for more inspiration :) I used Jusqua in a competition on DA called “Dissidia Aces”. The comic was inspired by the weirdness of being able to add jewels to your items indefinitely.

My equipment is starting to look like that by this point.

Final Fantasy III: Review
Having finished the DS remake of one of the first games in the Final Fantasy series, I thought writing a review of the game would give it a proper send-off before I play (or re-play) the other games in the series.

Job Appreciation: The Salve-Maker (4 Heroes of Light)
This has got to be one of my favorite jobs in the game. I don’t think I’ve used White Mage since I got this one, to be honest… I’m on the final battle and Jusqua’s still using it.
The salve-maker is inexpensive for your wallet and AP. You’ll probably find all the items you need in your normal dungeon travels without having to buy spells. Dispensary lets you use them repeatedly and lasts four turns, so if you keep track you’ll never run out. Using items is free unless you use Healthcare, which is still cheap. Curaga will always cost you 4 AP on a White Mage; you can use an X-Potion or an Elixir on everyone for just 2. Heck, you can basically groupcast Esuna+Cure when you have a remedy.
If you reach a lull in the fight, you can use Poison Pill, and that fixed damage is hella useful on high-eva high-def enemies. Level Serum is expensive at 4AP, but it’s a very nice buff.
Not to mention the classy as hell monocle.

Blogaversary!
So Tumblr told me that Fuck Yeah, Warriors of Light is one year old today! Who knew? I didn’t!
The daily queue is long gone, but I’m still going! Planning some new types of posts instead of just fanart, too.
And as from day one, the askbox and submissions are still open if any of you 77 fine folks have anything to contribute.

Whenever I watch the opening FMV for Final Fantasy III, I feel like Refia gets left out
I mean, Luneth gets to strike the most badass sword pose ever
Arc and Ingus do some flashy fire type stuff
But poor Refia just raises her staff and makes it glow like
"hey guys?"
"guys?"
"i can fight too you know"
"guys?"
"save some for me?"
"please?"
Poor Refia

TBH I always thought that Arc and Refia’s jobs ought to be switched in the opening FMV. Arc definitely seems more like a gentle white magey type than the blacksmith’s runaway daughter. (I mean she should even be shown as a Monk instead of a squishy mage.)

Lenna and Galuf in Curtain Call
Really, at this point they ought to throw Krile in and go for the full cast of FFV. (In fact I think I might be kind of mad if they don’t, at least as DLC!) Looks like they’re going with the Shibuya/Amano art mashup like they did with Faris.
You can see Lenna in the first trailer at 0:24, but you have to keep your eyes peeled. Didn’t spot Galuf in either one, though.
